TEN Statement of Faith

At TEN, we work with churches across denominations. We believe…

The Scriptures
That the Holy Scriptures are originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and are the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

The Trinity
In One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:26; Matt. 28:19).

Creation
In God the Father, Creator of the heavens and the earth and all they contain, visible and invisible; He created man in His image to fulfill His eternal purposes (Gen. 1:1; Zach. 12:1; Col. 1:16-17).

Jesus Christ
In Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His atoning death on the Cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatory work, and His personal return in power and glory to establish His Kingdom (1 Cor. 15:3-4; Rom. 3:24-25; Acts 1:11).

Salvation
The salvation of lost and sinful man through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ shed on the cross; the salvation is by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit (John 3:16; Eph. 2:8-9).

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, who indwells the believer and enables him to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:26; John 16:8; Acts 1:8).

The Church
The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, the Church, the Body of Christ whose mission is to announce the Good News for the salvation of the lost and to glorify God (Eph. 1:22-23; Matt. 28:19).

Satan
The personal existence of Satan whose intent is to oppose God and frustrate His purpose, and whose ultimate end is consignment to eternal punishment (Matt. 4:8-10; Luke 22:31; 2 Cor. 11:14).

Eternal Life & Judgement
The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved for eternal life, and the lost for eternal damnation (Rev. 20:12; John 5:28-29).
