Untrained Pastors

Lack of French Ministry Resources

“There are less than half as many French pastoral training resources per speaker as are available in English-speaking Africa.”

Many circumstances contribute to this dearth of resources.  See this article for more information.

Significant Need

“Nearly half of the world’s French speakers (140 Million) live in Africa where Christian resources are scarce, especially for training pastors.”

Limited Time

In French-speaking Africa, grassroots-level pastors usually farm or work other jobs in addition to pastoring. They do not have time or money to attend Bible school. TEN’s model of short seminars allows these pastors to attend the training.

Jesus said, “The Harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…”

Today we not only need to pray for more workers, but also for better equipped workers. In French-speaking Africa, pastors and church leaders are too often under equipped and isolated. For the past two decades, TEN has answered the call to train and disciple pastors where there is great need, French-speaking Africa. The nations that comprise this region account for half the world’s French-speaking population and have a quickly growing church, so the need for well-trained pastors to model right living and disciple them is great. We invite you to learn more about what the Lord is doing in this part of the world and how He is equipping and training His workers through the ministry of TEN!
